Cost of Living Crisis
The One Voice Wales Cost-of-Living Crisis Project is here to help Community & Town Councils support their communities through the ongoing challenges of the cost-of-living crisis.

Why It Matters
The crisis continues to deepen, increasing financial hardship and poverty. As the closest point of contact for vulnerable residents, Community and Town Councils play a crucial role in providing support. Many councils have already implemented impactful initiatives, and One Voice Wales is committed to helping them sustain and expand their efforts.

Join the One Voice Wales Cost-of-Living Crisis Forum
We’ve created a Cost-of-Living Crisis Community to facilitate peer-to-peer learning and support. Our dedicated Facebook group provides a space for councils to connect, share best practices, ask questions, and seek advice on cost-of-living-related issues. The One Voice Wales Cost-of-Living Crisis Team will also share guidance, resources, and signposting links within this forum.
Introducing ‘Councils Connect’
Councils Connect is a regular Zoom session hosted by our team, offering a dedicated space for Community and Town Councils to discuss challenges, share solutions, and collaborate on initiatives. This platform fosters peer support and collective problem-solving in tackling the cost-of-living crisis.
Join us to exchange insights, address challenges, and learn from fellow council members.
