We are always looking for new ways to promote our services, as well as innovative ways to highlight best practice and exemplar projects led by the Community and Town Council sector in Wales.

E-publications

We publish six editions of ‘Y Llais – The Voice‘ e-newsletter to our member Councils every year. We also circulate our more regular e-bulletin to all local Councils across Wales. Our publications contains articles providing important sector-related advice and guidance, latest information, best practice and case studies, and up-to-date news and information on our thematic projects and events. Our members have told us that these are extremely useful publications, as they can be referred back to at a later date, and discussed when the time suits their Council meetings. We will make our publications available on our Publications web pages in due course.

Our e-publications are highly respected in the sector. Some of our featured Case Studies are sent to us directly from Councils, and include unique local information as well as links to national strategies that affect local Councils. Read our Biodiversity case studies, and our Cost of Living case studies for examples.

Calling all member Councils…….we are always looking out for new thematic features and articles, so if you would like to send us a draft of no more than 500 words (with accompanying images if you want!), we will try and feature it in a future edition.

If your Council has a community project, a potential case study, or a ‘good news story’ you would like us to promote, please contact Emyr John, our Communications and Social Media Officer, at: [email protected]

Media partners

We are always looking for new ways to expand our media coverage. Promotion of our large public events and joint webinars throughout the year is important to us, as well as for the hundreds of local Council delegates who engage in our activities. We’d love to increase our visibility and reach a wider audience, and of course strive to increase our established attendance.

If you would like to discuss our collaboration opportunities and become on of our media partners, and to help us find news ways of communicating the important wok Community and Town Councils undertake within their communities, please contact our Communications and Social Media officer, Emyr John, at: [email protected]

Visit our Partners page to see who are our regular strategic partners and stakeholders. Also, visit our Opportunities page to learn more about the commercial and sponsorship opportunities that we have to offer – you may be pleasantly surprised!

Community and Town Councils have already well-established links to some media partners:
