Lyn has financial and operational responsibility for running One Voice Wales as the national representative body for Community and Town Councils in Wales.
Prior to taking up his current post he had 19 years’ experience of local government and the housing sector in Southeast Wales.
Lyn is a Geography graduate and holds posts graduate qualifications in Housing, Business Administration and Leadership.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
He has held a variety of roles on Welsh Government Advisory bodies since joining One Voice Wales including the Ystadau Cymru Advisory Board, National Assembly for Wales Nature and Us Advisory Panel, Wellbeing of Future Generations Technical Advisory Board, Ministerial Town Centre Regeneration Action Group, Section 6 Environment Act Working Group, Wales Community Resilience Forum, Diversity in Democracy Advisory Board, Ministerial Advisory Forum on Ageing and more recently Community and Town Councils Digital Health Advisory Group.
Lyn is a member of the WISERD Advisory Board and a former Chair of Monmouthshire Community Chest (SPORTLOT) Panel. He is a member of the National Trust and Gwent Wildlife Trust.
